La noche de ayer se llevó a cabo la Entrega No.56 de los connotados Premios Grammy en el Staples Center de Los Angeles, California. Importantes figuras de Sony Music se hicieron acreedoras a este reconocimiento por su excelente trabajo durante 2013.
Daft Punk fue el gran ganador, llevándose cinco galardones entre los que destacan Álbum del Año por “Random Access Memories” y Grabación del Año por “Get Lucky”. Asimismo, artistas como Pharrel Williams, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Adele, Dave Grohl y Draco Rosa destacaron al recibir uno o varios reconocimientos.
La ceremonia contó con varias interpretaciones en vivo de artistas de Sony Music, como Beyoncé, quien abrió la ceremonia al lado de Jay Z; también destacaron las actuaciones de John Legend;P!nk al lado de Nate Ruess; Katy Perry con Juicy J; Willie Nelson y Kris Kirstofferson con Merle Haggard y Blake Shelton. Impresionantes colaboraciones de Daft Punk con Pharrel Williams, Nile Rogers y Steve Wonder; Sara Bareilles con Carol King; Metallica con Lang Lang; además de Dave Grohl y Nine Inch Nails con Queens of the Stone Age.
Adicionalmente, Miranda Lambert realizó un tribulo a Phil Everly, al lado de Joe Armstron; mientras que Lang Lang regresó al escenario para honrrar a Van Cliburn.
